I just did.

"Just closed all programs now (firefox, discord and steam) and the mouse would still skip due to the lag spikes. No buzzing sound as no audio was playing."

You would not know if the pc is having the issue without atleast doing something, so I moved the mouse around and it was still skipping.

EDIT

Ok closed av and other things in the background but no change

K, try starting the computer in Safe Mode only (no networking) if unsure how, see here

Do you have or can you borrow a wired PS/2 type keyboard and mouse that you can use for testing purposes.

Right I'm in safe mode without networking. I guess il just leave it on, checking mouse every so often to see if it happens in here also?

That is the general idea, do what you can with it for as long as you can, if you can play on offline game and the likes it would help test things more accurately and quicker.

Pity about the lack of a wired mouse and keyboard, they come in real handy for testing purposes.

No offline games installed 🙁

I've been moving themouse every now and again and it all seems fine so far.

That would normally suggest a software issue.

Please note that if you are using the problem computer to post here that you should enable Windows Defender to keep you protected, keeping Kaspersky disabled while we troubleshoot this.

You have the software for two mice installed (oddly one of them is meant to be the wired type - Razer Naga) can you confirm which one you actually have.

For now I would uninstall all software to do with the mouse and keyboard, restart the computer but don`t install any drivers for either the keyboard or the mouse, for testing purposes only, go with Windows own generic drivers and see how things go.

Please note that if you are using the problem computer to post here that you should enable Windows Defender to keep you protected, keeping Kaspersky disabled while we troubleshoot this.
Stick with this arrangement to begin with, if the mouse works without issue try re enabling Kaspersky and test to see if the mouse still works ok then get back to us.

Had you or Windows loaded any updates.

Did you try Safe Mode as suggested.

Run Speccy again and post the updated url for us.

Not had time to try much but did run memtest over night which passed. Also took the gfx card out and hoped for the best as I had to do some work and for 6 hours yesterday and 3 hours so far today no issues.
