Hello, please help me. I can't find a solution to the problem. The problem is that the system does not see a discrete video card (rtx 3080ti) on the motherboard biostar tb250 btc, that is, when connected, on the start screen when booting, it says that there is nothing in the pcie slot and the task manager does not display (only video from the processor). I looked for a solution on various forums, changed bios settings, tried to connect other video cards, but still the system does not see any.

Have you tried the RTX3080 in another PC to test it is OK?
Where did it come from; online store?, retail store?, new?, used?
What is the make/model of the PC's power supply?
Yes, of course, the video card is working and everything is ok. As for the power supply, everything is also ok, the 750 w block.I think that everything is ok with PC components, but the problem is in the settings

OK, if it is a settings issue, have you tried taking everything back to factory defaults.
Reset the BIOS, and make sure you have the latest firmware update.

If your 3080 works in another PC and other GPU's don't work in your rig, I'm guessing you really do have a hardware issue, or all GPU's you have tried are not compatible.

Let's get some other opinions - @Pyro @PeterOz @xrobwx71 @phillpower2

I even tried to connect the video card through the riser and tried all the bios firmwares from the official site. And another interesting detail, the previous owner (a good friend) used a motherboard and a system with a video card on Linux, and only then I installed windows 10, what do you think if I I will install Linux, will it help somehow?

Hello, please help me.

If you would like help please provide information when asked for it, not all PSUs are made equal with some being so bad that they should ship with a health warning and a fire extinguisher.

Post the brand and model name or number of the power supply (PSU).

Download then run Speccy ( free ) and post the resultant url for us, details here, this will provide us with information about your computer hardware + any software that you have installed that may explain the present issue/s.

To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:

In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.

In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.

Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.

Okay, no problem, I will provide information later, and regarding the power supply unit, it is vinga 750w golden certificate

vinga 750w golden certificate

There is one thing that is possibly worse than using a known poor quality brand of PSU and that is using one that is unheard of, for brands of PSU to trust and brands to avoid please refer to the links in my sig.

Any Gold efficiency rated PSU that does not have at least a seven year warranty should not be used in anything more than an entry level desktop, high end GPUs need a high end PSU and you only get that from the likes of the Corsair RM range, EVGA, Seasonic and Super Flower.

The present PSU has a three year warranty and can only produce a questionable 732W so is no good for your GPU.

This is not an OS problem so moving the thread to hardware.

How many screens are you trying to use.

I am from Ukraine, this brand was recommended to me by a friend. As for the screens, I use one full HD monitor. I will reset the characteristics now (I didn’t have time yesterday)

From Speccy;
C:\ drive temp is 98 °C which is pretty high but the internal temp is 18 °C, so it may just be a sensor issue but keep an eye on it.
D:\ drive has some CRC and G-force errors and more importantly a head stability error (new one on me)
Your memory sticks are different, try just one at a time. If one sticks doesn't change things, try the other stick.

Do you think it's still a problem with the bios, or maybe the components are faulty?

Hard to say without further testing.
Reset the BIOS back to factory defaults, and remove the potentially incompatible 2GB memory sticks, and disconnect D:\ and that may shed more light on the issue.

Apart from a potentially faulty GPU or mobo, it could also be the PSU - getting another for testing would be great.

every time I updated the bios to different versions.

Don`t know what you mean by this, please explain both what you mean and what you did.

When I started speecy the card was not installed

The card should have been in the board so that we could see if it was detected at all, there is a very good reason why us knowing this is important.

When you put the add on GPU back in we need you to get us the revision number of the MB for us, you mentioned updating the BIOS and so it is possible that you have been installing the wrong BIOS because there are different revisions of the same MB, there is a known PCI-E fault on one of them so we need the exact board that you have, some info here for how to find the number for us.
