PC randomly go into sleeping mode

3rd with no experience in that distribution of Linux.

I had a semi-similar issue that was cleared up by reinstalling my OS and unplugging my computer from the surge protector I was using at the time.

If the issue follows you across different distributions, I'd guess a hardware/driver issue.
It happen on multiple linux os i never used windows on this pc.

Do you have an idea of what kind of hardware/driver issue and how to fix that ?
 
Can you post the complete hardware make and models?

Could also be that they second port as you can tell may have gone out and causing other issues depending upon the reason for the failure.

Have you tried any of the Linux forums?

Could be caused by an update.

Corrupt software.

HDD failure

Happen more on battery than mains?

Battery in or out?

BIOS may be misconfigured

What version release and desktop environment?

Does it do this on just the one user or all user accounts?

Which install did you preform?
