*Some unreal problem*
Few days ago the monitor stopped connecting to the computer. It can be connected to GPU only with vga to hdmi/dvi adapter (monitor has only vga port, while GPU only hdmi and dvi and i doesn’t have integrated GPU)

I tried yed everything and I don’t know what I can do more, it’s looks like magic

- I was thinking that adapter broken and bough few news (vga to dvi as I have before it broken and vga to hdmi in case dvi port was broken). Also I have second vga cabel

- Monitor working because it easy connect to my laptop with or without adapters

- PC easy connect to HDMI TV without adapters and work. But it’s doesn’t connect with adapters

- Second monitor doesn’t connect to PC with adapters because it’s have only vga slot

- Adapters work good because I checked them by my laptop and on PC on the work

- I reversed windows to default setting but it doesn’t help (maybe I should reinstall windows?)

- I removed GPU, cleaned contacts with spirt and connected again. It doesn’t helped

- I changed screen sizes and hz on TV and tried to connect monitor. It doesn’t helped

- I tried display driver uninstaller and it’s doesn’t helped.

- I tried to launch pc in the safe mode. This didn’t helped either

What could be the problem and how to solve it?

I turned off the computer as usual and the next morning this happened. I bought a new adapter, connected it, but the monitor still did not work. After 20-30 minutes it just started working again, it worked until I turned it off, and now for two days I’ve been with it and nothing works.

Sorry but you have post on a tech forum asking for help but have provided zero information about your computer or it`s hardware, this makes it impossible for anyone to even hazard a guess as to what is going on.

Is the computer a custom build or brand name such as Dell or HP, if a brand name, provide the model name or series number (not serial) if a custom build post the brand and model name or number for the CPU, MB, the RAM ( including the amount and speed ) add on video card if one is used and the PSU (power supply unit) providing these details will enable folk to better help you.

Okay. My PC:
Intel Core i3-12100F 3.3(4.3)GHz 12MB s1700
Kingston DDR4 16GB 3600Mhz FURY Beast Black
Gigabyte B760M DS3H DDR4 (s1700, Intel B760)
Кулер Deepcool AK400
Corsair CV550 550W
This items are all new, I bough them 3 month ago.
Also I have GPU MSI NVIDIA 1050
HDD Toshiba HDWD110
SSD APS SL3N 240
It was from my previous build, not upgraded it yet.
Monitor that worked for years with adapters ViewSonic VA703m (VS11359)
Adapters on the screen

The RAM is not appropriate for your CPU, Intel state here up to DDR4 3200MHz and if you have XMP enabled the RAM will get auto OCd past what the CPU can handle and the PC will become unstable.

As a starting point, see my canned info below;

Restore the MBs default factory settings in the BIOS, they are sometimes listed as one of the following " factory defaults" "most stable" or on newer boards "optimized" please note that if you have both the "most stable" and the "optimized" options in the BIOS you should choose the most stable" option as in this instance the "optimized" settings are a form of overclocking that can cause instability.

Save the new settings, exit the BIOS, restart the computer, test by using the computer as you normally would, post back with an update once you have done this

You should also make sure that the Windows Power Plan is set to Balanced and not Ultra or High Performance, both are a form of overclocking that cause stability and overheating issues.

Something to keep in mind for the future, a CPU must be compatible with a MB whereas the RAM has to be compatible with both the CPU and the MB, this because a MB can be compatible with faster CPUs than the one in your list of parts and MB manufacturers often state RAM speeds that far exceed what any CPU the board can handle.

Corsair CV550 550W

CV = Corsair Value and should not be used with an add on GPU, rated as – Tier D • Only for iGPU builds

Oh, thanks. That’s a great answer. I didn’t noticed such things when I bought this parts. I set MB setting as default. It’s not helped.
Probably i just missclicked when purchased power supply, because I remember that I focused for gold one for sure.
So how I need a new power supply and there no a chance to make it work on this one? Because it was working on this supple for 4 months In a row
And also last question, I’m planing to buy 1 more ram, should I buy 3200 and it will work if they different with that I have or I need to buy the same with 3600?

Using a weak PSU can result in a couple of things, it can be so weak that it will not work at all and worse still it can work but over time the hardware gets damaged and the GPU being the most power hungry device tends to suffer first and the most.

And also last question, I’m planing to buy 1 more ram, should I buy 3200 and it will work if they different with that I have or I need to buy the same with 3600?

Ok, the above suggests that you may only have the one 16GB stick of RAM, if the case restoring the MB settings will make no difference as the RAM cannot work at 3600MHz when there is only the one stick present.

I suggest that if you can you get a matching pair of appropriate 3200MHz stick so that you can just enable XMP and have the BIOS auto OC your RAM, mixing and matching RAM seldom works out and is even less likely to when there are two differents speeds and Cas latencies involved.

Fwiw, your update points even more so to a weak PSU, below is what Corsair advise their CV range of PSU be used for;

CORSAIR CV power supplies are ideal for powering your new home or office PC, with 80 PLUS Bronze efficiency guaranteed to continuously deliver full wattage to your system

Couple of questions fo you;

If you do only have the one stick of RAM do you have it in slot A2 which is the second slot away from the CPU.

Are you able to connect just the one screen up without the need to use any adaptor.

It was in the third slot before I writes this topic, then I just moved it to second (yesterday)
I able to connect TV without adapters, it’s work (hdmi slots)
My monitors have VGA slot so I can’t connect it to GPU (it’s has dvi and hdmi slots only)

Try one screen and one adaptor and see what happens.

Standard monitors are not capable of receiving a television signal so you would need to stream TV to it, you can do it the other way around though and purchase a TV that is good for gaming on.
