PC crashing randomly playing SOME games - any fix?

So more recently my computer (specs - GTX 1080, Ryzen 5 3600 (6-core), 550W PSU, a ~500GB SSD and HDD, air cooled and 2 x 8GB of Ram at 1500MHz each (not overclocked from what I know) has been crashing in certain games such as CS2 and just in the past few days on Assetto Corsa on some Modded servers. After 1 or 2 crashes in CS2 near the beginning of the game it usually doesn't crash in that session again. In No Hesi (Modded Assetto Corsa) it usually crashes when I join the server, with a few exceptions. Temperatures are fine for both games, and I run them on medium to low settings, with FPS capped at 144. Knowing I have minimum and recommended specs for both games this is kind of annoying. The PC runs fine during stress tests and benchmarks, (Cinebench 2024, UserBenchmark and FurMark). Graphics drivers are updated, as always. All fans work as required, it has been deep cleaned by myself and I have recabled and put everything back to where it was (however, I only took 2 fans out that needed some more cleaning). The computer runs fine in idle and in every other game on max settings, for example fortnite in the past and rocket league. Also The Forest runs fine and other games that I have on higher graphics settings. It is a bequiet! PC and the fans aren't any louder than they should or have ever been. When it does crash, sometimes I can immediately boot it back up, but other times I try to power it on but the lights just flash on, fans start spinning but then immediately stops and turns off. The PC is plugged directly into a wall socket, so power should not be limited.

I am not sure if it is a fixable issue or something I need to change, but any help would be appreciated!

Please not that we can only help with unmodified software.

We need to know what happens exactly, my canned info below explains as to why;

Software such as Windows can crash and when it does crash you get a BSOD and when enabled a crash dmp is generated, programs or games when they crash can on occasion close to the desktop but the computer will still be 100% functional.

Hardware failure such as a weak power supply and/or overheating are not software related and when a computer for example suddenly turns off, freezes or the screen goes black etc the behaviour should be described as the "computer shut down unexpectedly" or froze etc and not as having crashed as the latter implies a software issue as opposed to an obvious hardware issue when described properly.

Having the correct info means that helpers will not be looking for a software issue when the problem is clearly hardware related.

Can you post the brand and model name or number of the power supply (PSU).

Download then run Speccy ( free ) and post the resultant url for us, details here, this will provide us with information about your computer hardware + any software that you have installed that may explain the present issue/s.

To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:

In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.

In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.

Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.
