Hello. My name is Dom. And i've had this problem since before corona started so it's been a while. And before that everything was okay and all. And after a while my PC started to crash and crash and crash. And i don't know the problem and i still cannot find the problem. I've reinstalled PC countless of times. And couple months back from current date 30.04.2023. My PC after one of my reinstalls has been running without me worrying that it will crash. But there still were some problems and since i play games. I think it impacted some of my games i was playing. It caused Valorant to crash while in game and i was trying to find problem with that game with support for over 3 weeks. Before i thought it might be my PC. Also i was using streaming platform to play some games i could not handle otherwise and while playing those games would froze up after some random time and unfreeze after like 20 secs. And i couldn't really find solution to that as well since nowhere was problem. Nothing was corrupted etc and when i looked up some site and ppl recommendations. Only recommendation was to reinstall windows. And i just did that. But there was this fear that my PC will start crashing out of nowhere again. And well it did. I was actually reinstalling 3-4 days windows 10. After i came from work i got to the PC and started trying to solve everything up until midnight or even 1 am (I am home by 5-6 pm so yeah spending rest of my day repairing or solving my issue, wasn't really relaxing). And i repeated this as i said 3-4 days. Now currently i reinstalled it through boot option which i had problems with too, now i don't. And now it runs somewhat good. But again it did crashed. Luckily it wasn't BSOD but it was that kind that freezes and it either restarts itself or i have to manually restart it. But there is small "but" in there. When it came up to login screen. It would freeze up and not restart and i had to manually restart it. And sometimes it would even freeze up or "crash" before login screen. And i tried to install fastly some programs to detect what was causing that. And nothing. Also before all this crashing that happened i did some check ups like sfc /scannow and "chkdsk /f /r /x" and i will currently go and try memory diagnostics. But i have like very little hope that will solve anything. If somebody know what might be the cause. And how to solve this. I would be like forever grateful since i do a lot on my PC since some of my hobbies i need to do on PC not including gaming in my spare or free time.

is this the same PC from your previous thread; https://pchelpforum.net/t/computer-issues.74684/#post-144027

sounds like a hardware issue.

to test the memory - you will need to run the PC on just one stick of memory and see if the issue occurs.
if yes, try that stick in another slot and try again.
if still occurs, try another stick, and change slots again if the issue repeats.

can you get your hands on another hard drive and install Win10 on that?
that will prove if the drive is the reason.

then try the graphics card if you have one. remove it and run the screen from the motherboard graphics port if the motherboard and process support that.

then try the power supply.
next would be the motherboard - but having a spare one of those lying around starts getting hard.

It is the same PC. But i thought as well it might be HDD. But it's weird that just a week ago everything was running perfectly fine without crashing and moment i reinstall pc it starts to crash again. But i try to see if my problem will still occur now. If it does. I will try what you recommended. But first i will maybe try to switch those disk and instead of having windows in C: i will put it into D: That is ofc when my PC will crash again today. If not i will wait more and then conclude if it needs what you recommended me or not. Cuz before how my PC was not crashing after i installed windows it crashed as well but then it went completely fine. So i will have a little hope. Also in near future i hope. I had in plans to build a new PC. Since i finally don't manage to struggle that much in life.

Can you Download and run and then post. https://www.ccleaner.com/speccy/download
To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:

In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.

In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.

Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot dialog box. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.

The last part of each URL is randomized, so only people you provide with the URL will be able to find your profile.

The information given in Speccy cannot be used by anyone to hack your system

Could you also include the power supply specs E.g Cooler Master 850W Gold V2 NOT E.g 850w

Did you download the drivers from the MB manufacturer?

Before doing any install, it is a good idea to go to the support page for your system. Download the drivers you are going to need i.e. chipset, sound, video, wireless, etc. WhilstWin10 has a lot of native drivers, Microsoft drivers are designed for ease of use and are NOT designed for any type of performance. Store these drivers on another usb or you can even just make a folder on your install usb when you are finished making the install usb. Copy the drivers into that folder.

When you are finished with the Windows install, then install your drivers.

  • Chipset or Motherboard
  • Sata or hard drive
  • Video adapter
  • Network interface card (NIC)
  • Audio
  • Touchpad
  • Any other hardware drivers needed for your particular model.
Reboot after installing the drivers
