9 5900x
7900 xt
32 gb 3600mhz ram (2 sticks)
deepcool 850w PSU
samsung 2tb ssd (800gb free)
b450 tomahawk max MOBO

In a whole, pc is doing fine, BUT when i play the new game "THE FINALS" no longer than 2 mins PC crashes, RGB still on and fans working, monitor black no signal, and mostly CPU debug light on. Only thing i can do is turn off PSU or press restart button to use my PC again. The CPU temps never go over 70c, GPU doesnt even go over 60c. Ive tried to put lowest graphics, set max fps to 200 and ive tried vsynk, no help.

In other, much more demanding games (with cpu and gpu getting MUCH hotter) there are no crashes, no issues at all. Ive tried to put my PC under stress to see what would happen but it seems fine.

I was thinking it could be badly optimized and unfinished game, but ive yet to see a single other person with this problem.

Yes my Windows is up to date, BIOS up to date, i have tried older drivers and the newest, no help.

Both have CPU issues with the same game.
Both systems are the same age.
Both have AMD CPU's and GPU's
Both have Asus mobos.
Both have a set of 3600Mhz Ram.

so that means i gotta wait for better game optimization or buy a new pc and stay away from amd?

No, I am not saying anything negative about AMD. It was simply an observation which is a valid start of any troubleshooting endeavor.
It may be game optimizations regarding AMD drivers. It may be a correlation between your CPU and the RAM configuration. It may be PSU issues. That being said, it's worthy to note the similarities.

I was also commenting directly to your post about not seeing it anywhere else.

This is also significant and also points to the game being the issue.

also concur...

since this only happens in one game, that points to it not being 100% compatible with your hardware.
so it is either you change to suit the game, or wait for the game to change to suit your hardware.

and since there seems to be others with the same game and same issue, you'd be putting your money on the game developer not thoroughly testing their software on all possible platform variations - nothing new there!

so look out for new versions or patches to the game. (y)
