Iam a Linux newbie. I have Linux Mint Cinnamon 21.3 i would like to check other Linux distro from a usb. I have already put a Linux distro i want to look at on a USB with Etcher, thats done. But i dont understand how to boot to my USB with a Linux distro from a Linux OS. I just dont understand how to do this any help on this? Thank,s Chuck

I'll chime in with my (very) limited Linux usage.
Every few years I dip my toes in the Linux waters, and from the last time, my go-to distro was ElementryOS.m mSo I'd recommend giving that a spin if you want.

Found it easy to install and use - but again, it and all the distros I have dabbled in, failed to auto-install all my PC's hardware drivers, and the process to manually do that - from finding the driver to using Terminal and sudo commands, was not a happy experience.
Yes, of course I'd be the first to acknowledge, it was something I was learning as I went, but in the end, I always go back to Windows, which in itself is annoying because I always start my Linux distro hunt with the end goal of trying to get away from the cost of Windows.

But even after the OS level, then I hit the software level, like Office for example.
If you have to work with other people, using Windows and Office, or PhotoShop, or AutoCAD (what have you) - to make file compatibility between PC's, for me, I have to stick to Windows.

So, try ElementryOS and I hope you can stay with a Linux OS. 🙂
