Solved Optiplex 7020 No output display from GPU or integrated graphics on boot

Hello,

I recently bought a Dell OptiPlex 7020 from my College Surplus Store. I had 2 older GPU's laying around (ASUS AMD HD 7770 1GB) and decided to try and run them in crossfire in a new case. Upon hooking everything up initially the computer wouldn't recognize either one of the GPU's no matter if I only had one at a time or both in. I did verify they were both working when I removed them from my current setup. When I initially put everything together only the integrated graphics were recognized and worked and after attempting to figure it out until 3 am, I shut the computer down. The next morning the integrated graphics no longer output a signal and the graphics cards seem to maybe just output a black screen as my monitor doesn't show that it isn't receiving a signal. I am still using the original 290W PSU but have a 600W on the way. These cards are rather small and I believe they only have an 80W TDP, but I'm using a SATA power adapter to give them the full range of power. I don't really know what's wrong. The PCI-E Slots look fine. I don't know if I'm just not providing enough power or not. When I turn on the PC both graphics cards and the CPU fans all spin up and if left on they do warm up so I'm not sure what the issue is. I could use some help from someone who has some more experience than me.

Depending on which version/s the cards are, one version requires a minimum of 450W and another 500W so even one at a time the present PSU is no good

have a 600W on the way.

Not all PSUs are made equal with some being so bad as to be dangerous, 600W sounds great but only any good if the PSU can actually produce 600W.

As above, the two cards in Crossfire requires a true 600W PSU that has a minimum of 50 amps on the +12V rail, you will not get this on an el cheapo PSU.

Can I just make sure that you are removing the video cards from the PCI-E slots on the MB before hooking up to the MBs video port, you will not get video otherwise.
