Noise that I never heard before from computer

Hey

Since few days an irregular noise comes from my computer, I first thought it would be the hard drive disk but it's placed at the back in a small slot, and the noise definitely seem to be coming from the front.. yet I can't manage to get what it is

Would you guys have an idea of what it could be? (it does it at the beginning and near the end of the video, with a normal blank in between)

Thanks :(

I see an EVGA graphics card, they have notoriously loud "coil whine."

When under heavy load it will emit this 'screaming' sort of noise for whatever reason, I believe that's what it is and it's normal for the card.

Under idle and light/medium conditions you should not be experiencing this noise, is that correct?

Please verify the model of card, it looks like a 20 series unit?

Yes it's a 2080, it never did that before and the noise even come when doing nothing.. Sometimes it stops for a while, sometimes even hours.
As far as I checked, my computer isn't showing any sign of issues, wether it is drivers, updates, built-in component checking of windows, temps of my cpu and gpu... or even just the speed of loading pages or whatever. My computer seems in perfect whealth, it is really just coming to that noise

I slightly suspect it to happen more often on startup and after few hours to almost disappear, i'll need few days to verify that theory though

Hmm,

If that's the case it might be a bad bearing or something of that case in the fan.

Pull the GPU and test further, if the noise goes away, you have your culprit.

EVGA has a comprehensive 3-year warranty, if the noise is something that concerns you you could always RMA the card and get a refurbished unit in exchange.

apart from the background ambient noise, and the fans, all I heard was an occasional 'tap' noise (3 in fact, one by itself, then a double tap-tap) but that could easily of just been you moving the camera.
