Hi. You folks helped me once before & I hope you can help me again.
My CCleaner updated my Realtek Driver 3 days ago. Since then, I have no sound for videos on Hulu or Twitter, etc. I rolled it back. Didn't help. I unplugged Internet for a bit & plugged it back in. Didn't help. I downloaded/installed Realtek driver again. Didn't help. I did a bunch of other poking around & now, not only do I not have any sound but any & all Internet sites take forever to load. I still have the Speccy thing you had me use last time.
Thank you in advance for Any help. I'm beyond frustrated.

Hello

Go to your device manager and find sound/audio and click un -install once that is done restart pc and check if your system re-installed the audio drivers . if not go to the realtek site and find the driver you need and install.. Never use a 3rd party to update any software,,

Been back and forth with Dell site all morning. Apparently even though Microsoft forced me against my will to upgrade my computer to Windows 11 a couple months ago, my computer does not support a Windows 11 upgrade or something like that. I don't know. Frustration level is too deep right now & I apologize. I can't get driver because system doesn't support it. But all was fine until two nights ago. Now no sound from videos, web sites taking five minutes to open if at all, constantly having to refresh everything to get it to display...
I just want Microsoft's stranglehold broken. Can't uninstall Edge, which runs all the time against my will, IE, same thing - always running though never used or anything else I don't use or want because it affects Everything else that I Do use and want.
Thank you again for your help veeg. I'm just at end of my rope tbh.

I just ran the Speccy program/app and it appears I updated to Windows 10 a couple months ago; not Windows 11
So much information and I haven't an inkling what any of it means or how it can help me.
I did go on Dell's site and it installed 3 new drivers; they did not change things. Still no sound for videos.
Computer is getting progressively worse with opening web sites. Constantly having to reload.
I've switched from WiFi to WiFi 2 and back several times as one connects with Dell & one with Realtek; doesn't change anything.
I think by fiddling with things the past three days trying to get sound on videos, I screwed-up something else that has now slowed computer to a crawl. Not that it was that great before but at least I could get on a web site in less than five minutes.

I looked under the Windows 10 information on this site and saw someone recommended that someone else who was having problems get rid of their Classic Shell program/app. I went to Microsoft to see how to do that because there is no "uninstall" available on my computer for Classic Shell. Someone there said Classic Shell needed to be uninstalled Before updating to Windows 10 and that the person they were helping should roll back their Windows 10, uninstall Classic Shell & then update again to Windows 10 OR go ahead and uninstall Classic Shell as is and then create another computer user profile so Start button will re-appear... I don't understand why it took virtually nothing to screw this up so much and it's taking days to unscrew it.
I did disable Classic Shell but it still appears to be fully intact. Do you think I should uninstall it?

So other can assist let get a speccy report. Lets get a better picture as what is what.

Do not forget to post the make and model of the PSU if this is a desktop.

Download then run Speccy (free) and post the resultant url for us, details here, this will provide us with information about your computer hardware + any software that you have installed that may explain the present issue/s.

To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:

In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.

In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.

Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.

NEVER EVER use a program to update drivers.

I uninstalled Realtek, Classic Shell & Windows 10. I ran CCleaner, unplugged everything, turned off everything then hooked it all back up again & re-installed Windows 10, Realtek & the Realtek Helper.
I have video sound again! :) omg I would have never done it on my own so I'm very thankful! :)
However... My computer is still loading sites and pages excruciatingly slow and I would truly appreciate it if you'd help me with that if you can. I'll follow you Speccy directions momentarily. The computer is working on taking me to site. Has been since before I began typing this. :(

When I check my Internet connection, it shows I'm on Internet through Broadband. I don't know why. Up until now, it always shows Wi-Fi. I don't have Broadband. Could this be because I used my phone for Hulu the past three days so I could hear the videos I played on PC? I've tried to get it off Broadband but I can't find a way to do that.

I ran CCleaner,

Stop using this it will cause more issues that anything.

When CCleaner was owned and maintained by Piriform it was an excellent tool now that Avast owns and maintains it is not worth it. Everything that CCleaner does Windows and other programs have built in.

Try what @Malnutrition posted to reset the network.

re-installed Windows 10,
How and where did the media come from.

Did you install the drivers starting with the chipset and motherboard in the proper order?
