Hi I've been having trouble with an old pc. The display just stopped working while playing a game on steam. I've done some troubleshooting and it's not the monitor, HDMI cord, or the graphics card itself I tried a couple of different cards still no display. This has happened before, last time I thought it was maybe the drivers, so I switched the card and updated them put the first card back still no display until I tried a different card and it randomly just started to work, I don't know why all I did was switch from the first card to the second and back again. Now no matter which card I try I still get no signal! Any ideas?

Solved No display out of pc

You have post on a tech forum asking for help but have provided zero information about your computer or it`s hardware, this makes it impossible for anyone to even hazard a guess as to what is going on.
Please provide information about your computer, is it a custom build or brand name such as Dell or HP, if a brand name, provide the model name or series number (not serial) if a custom build post the brand and model name or number for the CPU, MB, the RAM (including the amount) add on video card if one is used and the PSU (power supply unit) providing these details will enable folk to better help you.

Missing from the requested parts list is the most important component that we need information on, the PSU.
If the PSU is as old as the ten+ years old CPU it should have been swapped years ago and for two reasons, Cyberpower do not use good quality brand PSUs and the PSU will be at least seven years out of warranty, even if the same age as the original GPU which was released in 2015 the PSU should have been changed years ago, just a fyi, the new GPU requires more power than the GTX 950 so you may want to put the original GPU back in rather than risk breaking the new one..
Did the computer previously give out a single beep once it had booted into Windows.
How have you come to the above conclusions.
Does the above mean that you are actually getting an on screen message saying " No Signal "

The card i swapped it with was the original card but I've been running the 1650 for about two years now with no problems until recently. I switched monitors no change tried multiple hdmi cables even monitor cables and I tested both graphics cards in my other computer and they work perfectly fine. And by no signal I mean my monitor says no signal when plugged in and no there was no beep or any sound or display. The computer is running though gpu fans on as well. I'll check what the psu is when I get home I know that its the original one that came with the pc if that helps
Your update tells us that the GPUs, cables and screen are ok, this leaves the PSU not being able to support the GPU and other hardware, swapping in a known good appropriate spec of PSU needs to be done to confirm this

Your picture confirms that you need a new PSU, to describe the present unit as garbage would be an understatement.

Sorry I thought that I did answer no It did not ever make a beep. But as its seems my problem is fixed for the moment thank you again. I'll keep an eye on the psu it may not be the best but I suppose it's better than forking over the cash for a new equivalent as its not my main pc

Replacing the PSU is entirely up to yourself of course but it is a case of when it pops not " if ".
Invest in a BIOS speaker like the one in the attachment below, they are real helpful with troubleshooting.
