Hi there,
I just bought new cpu/mobo/ram/hdd to upgrade my pc. I managed to get the new system to boot 2 times.. out of maybe trying 40 times. Maybe one fourth of the time it gets to the motherboard boot menu, the rest of the time the fans (cpu, gpu, case) just starts spinning and nothing more happens. Some times it turns it self off to turn it self on again, sometimes it just stands there with fans spinning and "No Signal" on the monitor. From the two times it managed to boot I got into windows on the old HDD and everything worked the one time, and the other time I managed to install windows on the new HDD but when the installation restarted the PC wouldnt start again.
The old PC was assembled in 2013 and works just fine this day except too low fps in games and except 3 blue screens in the last 2 months. It's a i5 4670K with a 1 year old GTX 1060. I have reassembled it a couple of times to game since buying the new hardware - and it still works as a charm.
The new system is:
AMD Ryzen 3700X
AsRock b450i (bios updated to support new Ryzen CPUs)
2x 8GB DDR4
Samsung EVO860 500GB
GTX 1060 (the old one)
750W PSU (the old one)
I'm a bit lost... any ideas/recommendations? I've never assembled a pc that didn't work so I have zero experience with troubleshooting this.
