Solved New PC started crashing and closing Programs out of nowhere

Hey! I will try to provide as much information as I can here, if there is anything you guys need to be able to help me out. Let me know and I shall provide! :)

I have been having an issue where my PC starts having BDOS Screen more frequently and Programs just close themselves without an error message.

I built my new PC at the start of December, it was working great until around the start of February. Ever since then I have been getting increasing BSOD Screens, Premiere Pro and After Effects (Im a Video Editor for Work) crash a lot more often than before. Specifically when doing render Intensive tasks, like rendering out a complicated after effects sequence etc.

Video Games also crash very consistently, for example whenever I try to enter a Rocket League Match, Rocket League will just close itself. I get no error message, it just closes. I can only see the report in the reliability History Windows provides. Same goes for football Manager, very frequent crashes, specifically when trying to Simulate Matches / or go into a Match to watch it.

I have tried:
- Completely wiping Windows and reinstalling it
- Resetting CMOS
- Updating BIOS (Currently have the most recent BIOS Installed)
- Clean Installing Graphic Drivers (Multiple Versions, none fixed it)
- Memtest86 (0 Errors)
- Check if RAM etc. is seated properly

SPECS:
- intel i9-14900K
- ASUS DUAL GeForce RTX 4070 O12G White
- Gigabyte Z790 AORUS ELITE AX (REV 1.1)
- Kingston FURY 64GB 6000MHz DDR5 RAM KIT
- Gigabyte UD850GM Power Supply Unit 850 W

I will be attaching some of the screenshots out of the Reliability History. If there anything else you guys might need, let me know!
Thank you to anyone who tries to help in advance, greatly appreciated! :)

BenQ GW2460 (1080x1920@60Hz)
AORUS AD27QD (2560x1440@144Hz)

Having different specs of screen will cause you issues and especially the resolution and Hz difference.

Your single crash dmp flags After Effects as the program involved but no drivers were directly identified, what was identified in the dmp was a checksum error that involved dxgmms.sys

When Windows was recently reinstalled it was not done properly, see my canned info below;

Once Windows has been clean installed you must then install first the MBs chipset drivers then the storage/SATA drivers and third the graphics drivers, the drivers can either come from a disk provided by the motherboard manufacturer or downloaded from their site and saved to a flash drive etc, this is a must and Windows should not be allowed to check for updates before it has been done as more often than not Windows installs the wrong drivers or in the incorrect order and this can cause all sorts of problems.

The reason why this procedure is so important, the chipset is what enables the MB to be able to communicate with all the hardware + are the first drivers that Windows looks for on boot.

Norton 360 for Gamers

Crap like this should be banned because it does nothing but cause problems, have you noticed that you have no AV protection running.

Alright thank you, I will try that tomorrow and report back.
I didn't know Norton was that bad and no, I have not noticed that no AV was running. I turned it on now.

Regarding the screens, I honestly didn't know that that could be an Issue mainly because I had different monitors in different resolutions/sizes for years and it never gave me any problems. But that's good to now, but hopefully not the Issue because that'd be an expensive fix

Hi. okay so it seems to have been resolved. So what I did is set the Performance CPU Clock Ratio to 45(4.5GHz) instead of Auto. This seemed to stabilize the system and solved the crash issue for now.

I have not reinstalled windows just yet, might still do that. Thank you for the help either way!
