Im getting a new DIY PC for running LLM locally. I was thinking this set up. Any feedback on improvments? (Been a while since I made my own PC)
  • CPU: intel core i9 13th 13900k
  • CPU COOLER: DeepCool LS520.
  • MODERKORT: MSI MEG Z690 UNIFY.
  • RAM: G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo DDR5 6000MHz 2x32 times 2 (so 128).
  • HD:
    • Seagate Firecuda 8TB
    • Seagate Firecuda 4TB.
  • GPU: RTX 4090.
  • CASE: NZXT H710i.
  • POWERSUPPLY: Corsair 1200W HX Series HX1200 80 PLUS Platinum Modular PSU.

Here is to start and others may have more to say.

HD:
  • Seagate Firecuda 8TB
  • Seagate Firecuda 4TB.

Would look into SSD and not HDD for speed and stability.

  • RAM: G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo DDR5 6000MHz 2x32 times 2 (so 128).

The RAM is not suitable for that CPU.
