I just finished upgrading my cpu gpu and psu and I've been experiencing a series of problems
First and most critical my display won't turn on, the rest of the computer simingly turns no but not the display. I've tried reconnecting my gpu to the motherboard and psu but nothing works.
Second none of my peripherals seem to work, my mouse showd no light and my keyboard's caps lock isn't working.
Third and most strangly long pressing the power button to turn off the pc isn't working, turning it on works but not turning it off.
If anyone can help shed a bit of light on the whole situation that would be amazing.

Sorry but you have post on a tech forum asking for help but have provided zero information about your computer or it`s hardware, this makes it impossible for anyone to even hazard a guess as to what is going on.

Providing these details will enable folk to better help you.

Is the computer a custom build or brand name such as Dell or HP, if a brand name provide the model name or series number (not serial) if a custom build post the brand and model name or number for the following:

Include the old and new.

CPU
Motherboard
RAM (including the amount and Number of Sticks)
Add on Video Card if one is used
Power Supply Unit

If you undid the upgraded parts to the old does the system work?

The pc is custom built by me
Old cpu: ryzen 5 2600
New cpu: ryzen 5 4500 with stock cooler
Motherboard: gigabyte b450m ds3h
Ram: crucial 2×8gb
Old GPU: rx 580 8gb
New GPU rx 6700 xt
Old psu: corsair cx 450
New psu: raidmax RX-530ss
Sorry for not including enough info from the get go

What BIOS version should have been updated prior to install this CPU.

Ram: crucial 2×8gb
Need to be specific.

What the CPU requires for RAM type.

New GPU rx 6700 xt
Requires a 650-Watt PSU minimal

New psu: raidmax RX-530ss
Is a 530-Watt PSU way under rated for the system you have.

The ram is Crucial CT8G4DFS8266 8 GB DDR4-2666 CL19.

I checked on pc part picker and it said there that I only needed 390W that was wrong?
