Hi there,
First time post, and sadly for not so good news ^_^. This morning my PC did not start, I have some experience so I will try to bullet-point it down here:
- No screen
- VGA debug LED is on
- All RAMs LED are on too
I tried:
- Removing all RAMs, and leaving only one
- Reset CMOS using the provided button on the MBoard
- Tried another GPU
Now the interesting bits:
- Without a GPU, the boot seems to go further (the keyboard lights up and I have no debug light on)
- With a GPU plugged in, but without any power cable plugged to the GPU, I have the same behavior (VGA debug LED on)
- I did a BIOS update about a week ago, and had a few boot since then, without any issue
My next step was to try and change the Power unit, and last resort the whole MBoard, but maybe I am missing something?
My setup:
- MSI X470 Gaming Plus
- GPU is RTX 2070
- AMD proc
