I have a Logitech G903. I really like this mouse from a shape perspective so I'm not keen on replacing it. However there's clearly a problem with its connectivity. Regardless of whether I connect my mouse directly via the usb cable or wirelessly via the included usb receiver, I get problems with it randomly disconnecting for about a second and then reconnecting again. When connected wirelessly, the DC and reconnect emulates stuttering. I don't hear the usb disconnect and reconnect sound but the mouse stops responding to my movement for a split second and then resumes giving the appearance of it teleporting around the screen rather than moving smoothly as you'd expect. I can tell it's disconnecting because the light that I have set to a specific solid color changes to red on the G logo and the lights in the middle which are typically off turn on and green.
When I'm connected via cable, it's actually worse. When it DC's it can sometimes list longer than a split second or two and I do hear the USB disconnecting sound and then reconnecting sound when it comes back on. I've also seen on the Logitech software that it shows the mouse and then when this happens it shows no devices connected until it comes back. What's worse, for whatever reason when this happens while connected via wire it can *sometimes* for some reason bring down all of my peripherals connected via USB for the length of time that the mouse goes down. My keyboard stops responding, my USB headset goes dead and I can't hear and people can't hear me when I talk on say Discord for example. For the longest time I thought the issue was with the PC itself until I stopped using the direct wire connection and switched to the USB receiver for daily use.
Anything I can do here? According to Logitech's software my mouse's firmware is up to date. Although I'm using the old Logitech Gaming Software 9.02.65 as opposed to the new hub software which I really don't like and bafflingly has less features.
