Solved Monitor turns black after launching/playing a game

When i play or launch a game the screen just turns black and the fans (GPU fans too) start spinning really fast and i need to turn my pc manually ( by hold the power button). So first it started happening with games that you need better pc comps like ( The forest, GTA V) etc. Then it started to do so on every game and is basically unplayable.
pls help ;/

You have post on a tech assistance forum asking for help but have provided zero information about your computer or it`s hardware, this makes it impossible for anyone to even hazard a guess as to what is going on.

You need to provide the exact information about your computer, is it a custom build or brand name such as Dell or HP, if a brand name, provide the model name or series number (not serial) if a custom build post the brand and model name or number for the CPU, MB, the RAM (including the amount) add on video card if one is used and the PSU (power supply unit) providing these details will enable folk to better assist you.

Complete junk and should not be being used with any add on video card, labelled as 320W when it can only produce 192W and this the reason why it has no minimum efficiency rating, it is killing your GPU which Nvidea say here requires a minimum of a 450W PSU, not any old PSU will do, EVGA or Seasonic Bronze or above efficiency rated for the card that you have.

You haven't provided the info that was asked for so all we can say is that if the RAM is not 2133MHz it will be bottlenecking the CPU and when the correct PSU is in place any slower RAM will affect the GPUs performance as well.

The immediate thing to do is get rid of that garbage PSU and get the appropriate one on place, don`t ever again trust the person that put an add on GPU in the computer while that PSU is in there.

That information was already provided in my reply #4.

As also said in my reply #4 was that you haven't provided the info that was asked for, there is no such MB as HP 8100 so for all we know it could be a custom board that has different power connections than a standard ATX MB, we can only work with any information that may get provided, we can`t and won`t guess.

That is a custom MB and therefore does not use a standard ATX PSU, you have to use an adaptor and that is only viable if you have a case that will accept a stock ATX PSU, if your case for example is the small form factor you are totally out of luck, see the Toms thread here

Are you really sure that you want to spend money on such an old PC.

ahh that sucks honestly my plan was to fix this crap temporarily and buy a new one in 3 months cause im not able to buy one right now. kinda confused on what to do next :|

Sorry but upgrading the HP 8100 Elite is not financially viable, you are best to save your cash and move on, the PC was never intended to be used for gaming I`m afraid.

Just a fyi, the CPU is not an i5 6600, it is an i5 650 so the maximum RAM speed is 1333MHz so worse still for any modern GPU.
