Monitor not connecting to pc and my keyboard and mouse do not seem to power up

Not much information to go with here. First thing to try is to remove your graphics card (if you have one) and plug your monitor cable into the onboard graphics port (if you have one) and see if that works. That would be step one.

Here it is assumed that you have all connections to you motherboard and its accessories securely fixed. It is also presumed that the cpu and ram is compatible with your motherboard and correctly fitted.
