I realize this issue has probably been analyzed to death but I could really use some help. I continue to get micro stuttering while gaming. Anything else I do I don't have this issue at all. I have attached my PC Specs from Speccy. I have tried everything and anything I could find posted online. NVIDIA Control Panel settings, disabling HPET, Clean install of windows (3 times), Clean install using DDU in safe mode of Nvidia drivers, Disabling Dynamic Tick, etc.
I usually handle all of my PC issues myself but I was frustrated enough to take it to a few different shops to have them look at it as well. I had 32gb of Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 @ 3000mhz in there as of today and decided to swap it out with the same brand but 3600 mhz (2X8 gb in the correct slots for 2 sticks) thinking that maybe my RAM speed was creating a bottleneck for CPU. No dice there either.
I've also created the emptystandbylist task as well with a slight improvement but still quite noticeable. I'm attempting to game at 1440p btw. I understand certain games may not be fully optimized but I read in other forums that people are playing the same game as me with lesser hardware and achieving stable gameplay.
If it helps I've tried Metro Exodus (all different settings as I know ray tracing is a major tax on the GPU) and Destiny 2 recently. I had an EVGA 1080 TI FTW3 before upgrading to the 2080 TI Version. I also tried swapping out the GPU with my kids MSI GeForce RTX 2080 TI Gaming X Trio and had the same issues. Any help short of me burning this thing to the ground will be greatly appreciated.
