This problem started to happen after I took the battery out of my Asus ROG laptop, it only occurs when I cold boot it and fortunately not when restarting it too
Before booting to the Asus logo it powers down and powers up twice before actually booting itself to Windows
Might it be a BIOS problem?

Have you reset the BIOS to defaults?
Check to see if there’s a BIOS update available from the PC’s manufacturer.
If you return the battery does the problem still occur. If the battery is damaged then please don’t try this.
Are you using fast startup? If yes then please try disabling this. It shouldn’t affect a cold start but worth checking.

I went back to the default BIOS settings, already had the latest BIOS version, same thing happens with the battery plugged in, disabled fast startup, same results
Seems like the laptop doesn't "wait" for me to press the power button, the moment I plug it in, it just powers up and does its opening and closing thing
