I have a Thinkpad T440 that has a boot drive on a physical laptop HDD. The laptop has a slot to add an M.2 2422 SSD, so I bought one with the intent to move the boot drive to that using a cloning software like Macrium reflect. So I opened the laptop, installed the SSD, closed the laptop up, and now it's showing no signs of life. It's not powering on at all. I tried taking the SSD out, but that didn't work. I tried using the reset button in the board. That didn't work. I tried disconnecting both internal and external batteries and holding the power button down to drain the board. That didn't work.

Did I brick the laptop? I really hope I didn't. How can I fix this?
