Lag when switching or starting tasks

Hello, I'm not sure if this is software or hardware related (I'm guessing it's the latter) so I hope it doesn't matter too much if it turns out to be in the wrong sub-forum.

Three weeks ago my PC started lagging when I switched between tasks and taking longer time starting up new ones. It's most noticeable when I alt-tab from games, which makes the game lagg badly in the background and when I tab back the game laggs for 5-10 seconds (sometimes it outright freezes) before it resumes, but even outside games it's evident that there is some underperformance going on. When I have several tasks open and start a twitch clip for example, the clip often laggs a bit before it resumes.

I thought it was because of issues with my old graphic card (Radeon HD7970) and/or its drivers, or my old RAM (corsair 2x 4gb), and since I've considered replacing them for quite a while, I went ahead and did so this week.

But the issues persisted, and even outside the obvious alt-tab lag, my PC is underperforming.

Any help with pinpointing what could cause this background lagg would be greatly appreciated. I'll attach a dxdiag log, but if you need any more information just ask.

I did the Check Disk and it Scanned & Repaired the disk, but I didn't get any information I can relay from it. It just finished and then windows was started up as normal.

Couple of things I`m seeing in Speccy that you should check as a starting point, your RAM is only working in single channel mode instead of dual channel, what slots in the MB do you have the two sticks, it should be slots A1 and B1 which are the first and third slots away from the processor.

You have multiple keyboard drivers installed, uninstall all of the redundant drivers for keyboards no longer used, once we have had an update we will take a look at your voltages.

I bought it 4-5 years ago I believe.

My RAM was in slot 3 & 4. I didn't think it mattered much, but I changed it as you adviced now.

I looked for it now, and noticed 3 generic keyboards in the Device Manager (which is weird, because since I re-installed Windows 10 a year ago I've only used this one logitech keyboard) and I uninstalled them. Is that sufficient, or should I do something more?

When I did that the lag I described was gone .

I started up & re-enabled Skype, Razer, Logitech and Battle.net and that lagg is still completely gone, even with multiple games, twitch, youtube open and switching between them. Not as smoothly as I would've liked or hoped for but many parts of my PC is old so will probably have to update more of it to get to that point.
