Hello all,

I'm still learning, so I just wanted to check if this GPU is compatible with my MOBO.
Mobo: MSI B450 GAMING PLUS MAX
GPU: Zotac GeForce RTX 3060 Twin Edge LHR 12GB GDDR6 PCI-Express Graphics Card
CPU (for note): AMD R5 3600

I've been running on an AMD Radeon R9 270x Sapphire for 9 years, I need an upgrade :')

Thank you!

Yes,

Your motherboard has PCIe 3.0 slots and the GPU you have listed is PCIe 4.0, this is okay since the PCIe standards are backwards compatible.
It is worth noting, you will not be able to fully utilize the bandwidth your GPU is capable of as your motherboard is not capable of those speeds with an older generation of PCIe.

Your Processor is also good to go, just make sure to get some 3200MHz memory and enable XMP. :)
