i wonder why ppl get their ip addresses appear in different locations ?

My 4g ip address is in scotland where ive never even been to. Im in guildford ! Yet i get all these completely different places like bicester, now scotland... Different country to england ! Just surprised its never happebed before to be in a different country

Changed to liverpool now LOL

Fair enough if its different cities in the same country especially if they're close but i find it odd to be in a city from a different country LOL

Unless your ISP gives you a Static IP your location will move around. It depends on what server hub your service access point sends to. Usually you will be sent to the same hub unless traffic or an outage demands otherwise. I've never shown my IP location nearer than 100km of me.

Depends on the service provider. Also depends on where your are getting the location data from. In dealing with the mobile service part of it is about were the 4G signal terminates not were it originates. With privacy laws getting stricter the phone companies try to make finding you difficult for the mere mortal. If part of the server farm your service provider is in Scotland then your IP wears a kilt. :)
