Internet is permanently disabled

Used to use my pc daily a few monthes ago then one day, the internet was disabled. I have gone to a few IT friends and specialists but none could figure it out. I use a wireless connection but the people who've helped me said maybe try a wired connection. Was just wondering if anyone can help

Did you try a wired connection? Need to narrow the problem down. Could be hardware-related or missing WLAN/LAN drivers, although the latter is probably less likely since Windows (10) Updates deals with modern hardware pretty well.

I am tonight, a friend is coming over to lend me an ethernet cable to see if this works. Ill comment back results. Whats also strange is anyone thats helped cant fix it and have never seen thks issue before

Just booted it but after about a month and it says "an error has occurred during initialization. If this problem continues, please contact your system admin
Error code: 0x80070426"
Also says my Windows Security system is disabled but when i try to turn it on, it says "it cannot be started"

Now that i think back, it might have been about a year since i last really used my pc, so would that be why its an older version? Also, i never browsed any websites, just used it for steam and youtube, but one of my friends said it could be from malware since things are disabled

Alright, cool. I have abolutley nothong of value on here, just steam games lol. So should i look up a tutorial how to do what he suggested? Also its my moms laptop so would she have anything to worry about?

As long as you select the correct drive during the Windows 10 media installation, there should be nothing to worry about.

"Download tool now"
When you plug in the USB you plan on using (it will be wiped, so use an empty USB), make note of the letter drive it is, and make sure the installation tool downloads the Windows 10 ISO to the correct drive, which will be the USB you took note of.
