Solved how do I change the font size when I boot up in safe mode?

You have been clear.
Replace all the check marks so that Startup is as it was. Back to normal. Restart.

Please process these commands. This will create a small text filename pchf.txt
Please attach file to next post

Open a Command Prompt window.

net localgroup users >> c:\PCHF.txt

net localgroup administrators >> c:\PCHF.txt

It should be there - if the command did not return an error. When the command works, it just immediately returns to a blinking flashing command prompt.
I can think of reasons why it would not be there.

Try this -
Open explorer. Navigate to C. On the root, create a folder labeled PCHF

Open a Command Prompt window.
net localgroup users >> c:\PCHF\PCHF.txt

net localgroup administrators >> c:\PCHF\PCHF.txt

I don't know why this isn't working. I created a new folder c:\PCHF as you asked.

I don't know what you are looking to find but if it is to find out what accounts are on this computer I have a txt file from an old fatbar scan I did when getting help on the other site. Hopefully it's ok to copy that file here to see if that will help.

That means that you are logged in as an Admin.

I just re-read every post in this thread. Earlier, you clearly reported that your account has Administrator rights.
I have lost myself in this thread. I think we have solved at least one problem.
The PC continues to slow boot but is faster than before.

I think we are trying to execute a Clean Boot and some changes are being disallowed.

Can we close this thread and open a new one? My vision is limited and I need a thread with fewer pages.

Yes Sir that would be fine.

I concur about the boot time being a little faster as well as the clean boot part it just wont let me clear that last box and the second part of disabling those processes.. It still loses the internet connection when I let the machine hibernate.

Do you want me to start a new one or can you work some kind of magic and do it on your end.

Doc: Don't do that.

Please clarify that you mean hibernate and not sleep. Huge difference and XP is married to a ****** named Hibernate. If I was XP, I would get a divorce.

well, if I let the computer run after I'm done with it, after a short period the desk top goes away and my screen saver displays. During this time if I hit a key or move the mouse the desktop will pop back up and everything is normal. But if I don't hit any keys or the mouse and come back the next morning that's when it does this. lost connection, mouse pointer comes and goes, pages are unresponsive and the only way to get it to work is to reboot the computer.

You are describing Sleep. Touch a key/move mouse to wake up.
Hibernate requires that you press the power button.

Sleep - power is reduced to super low level, computer status is held in RAM.
Hibernate - power if set to off, computer status is held in special file on hard disk.

I see the 'wake up' problem and the startup problem to be essentially the same.
Proof: wake up from sleep. Ignore PC for 20 minutes. Do you have network, mouse, responsive PC?

Also, be sure to get the Autoruns. Run as Admin.
It will take a few (30?) seconds to scan. When complete, click File, Save
(note the file save location or navigate to desktop)
Save file and post here.

This will show us EVERYthing your PC is loading at startup. DO NOT PLAY with this tool and IGNORE the drivers tab.
