hey, my pc CPU is idling at 77-80 degC and is, under load, hitting 95 degC easily but probably hotter because that's just the threshold of the monitoring software.
the CPU is a Ryzen 7 3700X with a Kraken M22 liquid cooler.
GPU is an RTX 2060 Super and has idle temps of 30 degC and has never had heating issues once in the 8 months i've had the pc.
i checked to make sure the cooler was properly mounted, it WASN'T, i mounted it correctly and the temps went down by maybe 1 degree. i ordered new thermal paste, applied it, and the temps went right back up to what they were before and i'm quite sure i didnt apply too much. the temp in my room is maybe 60 degF and my friend with nearly the exact same build as me, with a different cooling system, is having zero heating issues and is in the same environment as me. is this issue my cooler? the Kraken M22 is a one fan, one rad liquid cooling system. the liquid cooling is something i'd like to continue using but will cost me around 200$ to upgrade to a better cooling system. i could also switch to an air cooled, fan with heatsink type of system but i'd much prefer to stay with something similar to what i have now. i just want to be sure of what my problem is before i spend a large chunk of money. any help you all can give would be appreciated.
