So you did the test as I described and which is also shown in the video and the PSU powered up ok.
Do you have a way to take some pictures of everything you have connected? Have you made sure the extra CPU power connector is connected aswell? (Usually a 4 pin or 8 pin)
If the power connectors are not securely connected, the issue you describe can occur.
It would also be a good idea to only have the needed hardware connected until you get a successful boot or atleast, it not turning right back off.
So in this case just the ram,psu,cpu,heatsink, gpu and ofcourse the motherboard. Do not worry about the hard drive,optical disk drive or other extras.
