GAMING PC CONFIGURATION

Hello, I have a question. My nephew has a gaming pc 12 core x567, 32 gb ram, 120 ssd, 1 tb hd, rx 470 4 gb and the gaming audio and party chat audio does not work.. I am thinking the current configuration can't handle the audio. If so can he upgrade or add another processor?

Will need complete system specs. so others can assist.

Download then run Speccy (free) and post the resultant url for us, details here, this will provide us with information about your computer hardware + any software that you have installed that may explain the present issue/s.

This does not collect the PSU information you will need to get the make and model and post that.

To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:

In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.

In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.

Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.

If the computer is working other than the audio something is not set up correctly.

can he upgrade or add another processor?

As above, if the computer is actually working albeit minus any sound the problem lays elsewhere, the good news is that it is nothing at all to do with the CPU.
