Solved Games Randomly crash and programs don't work properly

Hello a few months back I changed my old motherboard + CPU and RAM, everything went smoothly and seemed to work perfectly. But My issues are that some games just randomly crash right now, usually no error program just closes examples are HUNT Showdown and Team fortress 2 games which my system can definitely run and does smoothly but just crashes. Some games don't start like Apex Legends, Tekken 8 and The Finals are some examples for some reason could get the Finals running after changing to DX 11. And most recently about yesterday my discord just keeps restarting in the background and crashes pretty frequently. I've reinstalled windows 11 multiple times and removed all files along the process but nothing makes the crashing stop. I assume a part has been damaged but I don't know what if it's my PSU that does not give enough power or my GPU that has been damaged or something I'm missing. I've tried multiple solutions like paging memory and etc. No overclocks or game boosts at all attached specs down below thanks in advance.

Hello Grim.

After installing Windows before checking for updates did you install first the MBs chipset drivers, second the MBs Intel Rapid Storage drivers and third the MBs onboard Intel VGA drivers, you are 100% sure to get issues if you don`t do this as Windows will install any old crap if you let it update first.

Having different specification screens will cause issues on its own.

What is the brand and model name or number of the RAM and how many sticks of it do you have.

I don't know what if it's my PSU that does not give enough power or my GPU that has been damaged or something

You mention the most important component in a PC but then tell us zero about something that can do the most damage to hardware.

What is the brand and model name or number of the PSU.

Hey Friend sorry was very upset as I was writing that forgot the important details lol. Firstly I did not download the chipset or VGA drivers and Raid so I've done that from the official page of my motherboard and what I did when I installed all the parts was update my BIOS fyi. I downloaded

Hey Friend sorry was very upset as I was writing that forgot the important details lol. I think I figured out the issue, I have Corsair 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5 6000MHz CL36 Vengeance RGB AMD EXPO. AMD OMG, I got the wrong ram, that has to be the reason things are ****ed right? I mean eighter way AMD RAM for INTEL CPU is not good!!!

Sorry for wasting your time

You have not wasted anyone's time (y)

The RAM will work with both AMD and Intel CPUs so no worries there, we can help you set the RAM speed manually if you like, just let us no.

Will also add that my PSU is a Corsair RM750X 750W v2

Bit on the weak side for the amount of hardware you have hooked up, the 850W version of the same PSU would have been my choice for your rig.

Which power supply do you need?

Okay I thought maybe it would be the RAM or PSU, I can set the RAM speed manually myself It's been working normally as far as I know, programs that I can use are working fine and even games like Cyberpunk work great. So might be the PSU does seem rather weak after using a calculator for my predicted WATT usage. Gonna buy a bigger one and hope that helps seems weird discord would crash because of PSU issues so gonna double check my RAM speeds 👌

Cheers for the help mate

So might be the PSU does seem rather weak after using a calculator for my predicted WATT usage.

Something to keep in mind, it is the GPU manufacturer that is expected to honour any warranty should the card fail because it was underpowered, not a PSU calculator or some faceless person on the internet, you start with the wattage recommended by the GPU manufacturer and then add a bit more to allow for the additional drives and screens that you intend to use, MSI recommend the system be powered by a 750W PSU when one of their RTX 3080 GPUs is to be used so allowing for your additional drives and screens an additional 100W would have you covered,

You are welcome :)
