Hello. I have a msi gf63 thin 9sc laptop with all of the most recent drivers. While trying to load games which connect to the internet, my internet connection from my laptop will stop working but when it's unplugged all games run fine at a lower frame rate. In other words, my laptop runs as expected when its unplugged and on battery power but when its plugged in and charging, it won't connect to game servers firstly and when games are attempting to connect to internet, the internet completely stops working. This also happens when I try to open geforce experience.
In the past, I was able to fix this problem by changing my NVIDIA control panel power management mode setting to prefer maximum performance (it was default set to optimal power for some reason) leading me to believe this is a power management issue. But I have tried doing this setting again and also setting my advanced power settings - setting the processor's minimum and maximum states to 50% and 99% respectively and setting the other settings to their maximum performance setting while plugged in but this hasn't fixed the problem. Does anyone have any ideas on what I could do to fix this? Maybe there is a setting hidden somewhere I don't know about.
I have tried a lot of troubleshooting steps but none have fixed this so far. Any help would be appreciated.
