I just bought a laptop for myself, now I am buying one for my son. He, like me, prefers the 17" screens. He is stuck between 2 models, only differing in the screen resolution...one is UHD, the other is FHD. The UHD is $250 more. Worth it? FHD looks incredibly good on a 17", so I'm wondering if we will really see a $250 improvement in resolution by upgrading to 4K. I've read around on the topic a little...as usual there's no consensus. Some think 4K is the wave of the future and is worth it, others think 4K on a laptop screen is ridiculous..just looking for some more insight here..thanks.
