ok thanks, i will try the restore.

i will try it tomorrow thursday.

tonight storms came in and took out the power twice and the second time it was out for a couple hours, dont want to risk anything.

is there anything special i need to do for the restore or just run it?

im not sure, if its something i had to do myself then no i dont have one.


at this point i dont even care about diablo anymore, or even other games right now

i feel bad like im just wasting your time

i just want to watch tv and movies without the random crashes

i dont mind having to reinstall windows again and do what i did before, it was good after that, no random crashes

Hopefully you can do tv and games.
Download MiniToolBox and save the file to the Desktop.

Close the browser and run the tool, check the following options;

List last 10 Event Viewer Errors
List Installed Programs
List Devices (Only Problems)
List Users, Partitions and Memory size

Click on Go.

Post the resulting log in your next reply for us as an attachment

thanks so much for your help.

i just need a break from being sick of the pc probs, even the last week while it was ok i was still just nervous waiting for it to crash every time i click something

been ok for 10 hrs now, well see how it goes tomorrow

i can easily go without a game but cant go without tv

since the prob started my pc has prob crashed 50 times, im afraid its going to break and then im royally screwed

i will download the mtb incase anything happens

i will report back tomorrow either way so we can fix something or so you can close the thread

What you need to think about is either you re install windows when a problem happens - normally after a windows update
or a driver update.
So if you have an external drive you can make a system image of where you have it all working correctly.
Then with an issue you restore the system image.
Each time you add a new program you make a new image.
You can have more then 1 system image.

i might do that if problems persist

been a full day and so far so good

if you guys need to close the post its ok by me

hopefully i wont have to bother you guys for a while

does this problem still look like a driver or software problem? not sure why it would have crashed on the restore
