Hi Guys,
It is really neat that I can cut and paste a file photo to add to a post. Why doesn't the format allow a cut and paste of a video file?
Can't resort to a URL for a file already captured.
I can do both on Windows to add to an email.
Heat Sink.

Sorry about the delay
What are you using to cut and Paste (keyboard/Mouse)

Have you tried right clicking on the video and selecting Copy Link Location
Then in a post right click and select paste.

It will paste the text version of the link for the video and once you post it will show the video.

Well yes Rusty that's how it is normally done to on send a video or photo file. In this forum I can put any photo onto my posts here but when I do the same to any video file, 'paste' is greyed out and they aren't accepted.

Hmmm that is how I inserted the video on that post #3. Have you tried CTRL+V to see if that helps.

Have you tried the Media button

?
All that you need to do is click that paste in the url click on Embed then post.

What you're experiencing Heat Sink is normal, sure you can u/l a video from the net but for example .mp4 files from your pc cant be uploaded. I have found it easier to upload a video to Youtube or similar and then link that to the forum.
