Changing wifi adapter

I'm a pretty big noob when it comes to this, but youtube told me changing the adapter would be easy.. Well not for me..
My PC is a Lenovo Legion, and the motherboard is kinda tiny. There are no more open usb slots on the board, so I can't actually connect my new adapter (Tp-link Archer TXE75E)
I got the slot to actually connect the adapter to the board, but not the following cable. I've tried disconnecting the usb in the "RGB_HD" port and the PC seems to run smoothly with that disconnected.
So my question is, can I connect my new wifi adapter in the RGB_HD port on my motherboard?

It's a desktop.
I had to google Powered USB hub because I was imagining one with actual usb ports like for mouse and keyboard.
But those looks promising! Will they work at the same speeds and such as the ports on the motherboard?
And the included cable that I need connected is only like 15-20cm, so it would also create some problems with the placement of the powered USB hub.

USB hubs are these;

sometimes the devices connected to them require more power than the USB port from the PC can provide, so the hub itself can be powered to offer more juice.

the ones that go inside a PC are these;

generally, this type would provide faster speeds but it'll depend on what PCIe slot you install it into.

What is the issue here and what does the new adapter have to do with USB?

According to the site there is no USB for this adapter.

What cable you screw the antenna to the card.
