Its nothing to do with my mobile phone, which BTW is a Galaxy A13

I am trying to reduce my video files that are taking up so much storage. I want to transfer them to a hard drive that I attach to my laptop as I use it as a backup system. And I am using wi-fi in my home

You mentioned a mobile hard drive. Can you clarify what you meant if it isn’t a mobile phone - I take it from your reply that you meant a portable hard drive.
What file format is the drive formatted to? some formats can only allow small files to be transferred. For large files it needs to be NTFS or ExFAT.

you don't mention what the actual problem is you are having?

you physically don't know how to, OneDrive files copy but give an error, they are too large for the external drive, ???

but the theory is, plug in your external drive.
it shows up as a drive letter in File Explorer.

you already have OneDrive installed and setup on your PC.
it also shows as a drive letter.

you right click the OneDrive video in question, select Copy, go to the external drive to where you want to put the file, right click, Paste.
once verified the file is copied, delete it from OneDrive.

where in that process are you getting stuck?
