Hi, got kernel security check failure just before when I turned on laptop (this is the first time it occurred). Is it possible for blue screen to occur when one hibernates laptop instead of turning it off ? I usually hibernate my laptop, so that I can access my documents or software faster and most of the blue screen occurred when I later turned on laptop right after windows loading screen before the start screen.

And this is why CCleaner is erasing your dump files.

Disable Monitoring or uncheck the option to delete dump files from within CCleaner.
O4 - HKCU\..\StartupApproved\Run: [CCleaner Smart Cleaning] (2019/01/01)C:\Program Files\CCleaner\CCleaner64.exe /MONITOR

Ok, for now please remove Avast from your machine and disable toolwhiz time freeze. Lets see if you get anymore crashes after that. :)
By disabling, uninstalling or just exiting the app? also, does windows security defender work properly? I used to run only the default antivirus but someone said to install better antivirus and gave avast as an option. I will uninstall it though.

i don't have monitoring option in my ccleaner (free version v5.46.66) There is smart cleaning which I disabled just now. unchecked the memory dumps cleaning option, I haven't used ccleaner for months actually tho.

Thanks. I will do these and reply asap. Also, does this mean I can continue to hibernate my laptop and not turn it off?

Also, find terminate and delete C:\WINDOWS\System32\drivers\zamguard64.sys with PChunter. Reboot after.

Hi, there was no terminate option, so I disabled it and tried to delete the driver, both the (file) and (file and reg) option, but it said delete failed. actually, it said delete ok first then I saw the file was still there, and tried again, then it said delete failed.
It was under Kernel Module.

Edit: it was removed it seems, after I restarted, it was gone.

Remove Avast for now.

I have done all the steps now. What should I do now?

Wait and see if it crashes again and let me know if it does.

Just make sure and reboot the machine after the steps.

Hi, bsod occured again. Faulty hardware corrupted page error this time. I logged into my account, and when the windows explorer loaded, the bsod occured. I restarted, the explorer screen was black, so had to restart it from task manager. I ran sysnative immediately after to collect the dump file. Here it is:

Howdy folks :)

In addition to what Mal has asked can you do the following for us;

1. Copy any dmp files from C:\Windows\Minidump onto the desktop.
2. Select all of them, right-click on one, and click on Send To> New Compressed (zipped) Folder.
3. Upload the zip folder using the Attach button, bottom left of the dialogue input box

I got system thread exception bsod today at the start screen. And I have no idea what happened, but yesterday's bsod dump file is gone?
I feel like most of the bsods I get are usually before I login to the windows.

Speccy link: http://speccy.piriform.com/results/twJ4aKy4mWzqnjGpAByWS7E (got couldn't connect to server or something error few times when I tried to publish it before it worked)

Do you mean that Windows crashes while it is trying to load or does the computer crash before Windows has even begun to load.

Couple of things of note in Speccy but nothing that could be conclusively identified as the cause of the issue/s.

Windows is badly out of date, when running Windows 10, we have been at version 1809 for a while now and not only are you still running 1803 there is nothing telling us that there has been any attempt to update to 1809, get Windows fully up to date, a fix for your issue/s just may be included among the updates.

Power Profile
Active power scheme: High performance This is a form of OCing that causes overheating and instability, change it to Balanced in the Windows Power Plan.
Hibernation: Enabled This is a less than useless setting that is known to cause problems, disable it, "how to" below.
Turn Off Monitor after: (On AC Power): 15 min Change all these settings to Never while troubleshooting.
Turn Off Monitor after: (On Battery Power): 10 min
Turn Off Hard Disk after: (On AC Power): 20 min
Turn Off Hard Disk after: (On Battery Power): 20 min
Suspend after: (On AC Power): Never
Suspend after: (On Battery Power): Never
Screen saver: Disabled

To disable Hibernation:

  1. The first step is to run the command prompt as administrator. In Windows 10, you can do this by right clicking on the start menu and clicking "Command Prompt (Admin)"
  2. Type in "powercfg.exe /h off" without the quotes and press enter. If you typed it in correctly, the cursor will simply start at a new line asking for new input
  3. Now just exit out of command prompt

Your RAM is not helping you any as only having a single stick means that it is not only running in Single channel mode ( less than 800MHz) but also causing you to have high memory usage, using 56% of 8GB of RAM when not under any load is bad.

Memory
Type: DDR3
Size: 8192 MBytes
Channels #: Single
DRAM Frequency: 798.1 MHz

CAS# Latency (CL): 11 clocks
RAS# to CAS# Delay (tRCD): 11 clocks
RAS# Precharge (tRP): 11 clocks
Cycle Time (tRAS): 28 clocks
Command Rate (CR): 1T
Physical Memory
Memory Usage: 56 %

Running: Razer Central Service
No good ever seems to come from having this software around, I dont see any hardware for it so not sure why it is even present.
Running: Razer Game Manager

Yes windows crashes before the windows explorer even loads. so after the windows login screen before the windows start screen where you log in to accounts or input password to enter the windows.

I have started windows update now, it is initializing the update for 1809, I am not sure why it didn't update automatically.

I have changed the power profile.

Disabled hibernate.

What should I do about RAM? Put in another ram on the second slot? does it have to be 8 gb or can it be of different size?

I thought Razer central could improve gaming experience by freeing some unused RAM, do I uninstall the software?

Here is a zip archive, got another bsod error as well (kernel security) which I have put in it.

Judging by your last two crash dmps it looks like memory corruption at the moment.

We are best to wait and see if anything changes once you have fully updated Windows, can we have an updated Speccy url once this has been done.

Yes, get rid of it, like the High Performance setting it will just cause you problems, both may be ok on gaming rigs that have high end components but not on a computer that is best suited to office type work.
