I have dug out my very (very) old custom PC build back from probably 2018/2019. Current specs are:

Processor:
Intel core I3-6100 3.7GHz Dual core (socket 1151)

Motherboard:
ASUS H110M-PLUS Intel socket 1151 motherboard

Graphics card:
ASUS Nvidia GeForce GTX 960 2GB

The remaining bits are in the attached photo.

I want to be able to play all the big games such as Starfield and Baldurs Gate 3 and simply move away from console gaming.

No budget set so reasonable responses please.

Hello

So are you a serious gamer? If so there is one item you can't skimp on and that is the psu , you need to have a psu gold standard with at least a 5 to 10 year warranty.. I will tag a member for more gaming system info..

I'm with the others, a reasonable new build would be wiser than pouring money into something that's just going to show it's weak spots in another year or two.

I usually pair i3s with 8GB of ram on the lower end and an SSD at least- but that's up to you if you want to spend money on it.
