My PC :
Desktop Acer Aspire T3-715, Windows 10 Home 64b. 21H1
Intel Core i5 Processor 6400
NVidia GeForce GTX745 4GB
Hard Drive : SATA3 1TB & SSD 128GB
Memory : DDR4 8GB
DVD-Super Multi drive
Card Reader
Integrated LAN 10/100/1000
Monitor : SamSung SyncMaster 933sw

Couple of weeks ago, the PC got stuck at the beginning of booting, when acer logo appeared on the screen.
It was like this :
1.Start button could turn power on,
2.Light in front panel was on,
3.CPU & graphic card fans spun,
4.Monitor was on & showed "acer" logo & booting stopped at this point,
5.Start button could turn the power off.

Except for these functions listed above, EVERYTHING ELSE WAS DEAD.

A repair shop tried to fix the PC but failed.

Today, I had the CPU cleaned & applied new cooler.
The PC behaves differently from how it was before the CPU cleaning.
1. Power on, continuing beeps B - B - B - in half second intervals.
1a. Before cleaning the CPU, there was no beep, no beep even when the PC was started.
2. And now the monitor is not on.
2a. Before cleaning CPU, monitor was always on after power on.
3. And the power on-off button becomes a one way traffic, only power on, not power off.
3a. The power button was normal before cleaning the CPU.

What do the beeps indicate & how to correct it, please?

Thank you.

Hello

The 3 beeps seems to indicate a memory issue. So check your memory sticks one at a time in different slots..
Thank you.

The beeps are continuing in about 1/2 second intervals. Not three beeps a time. They are equally time elapse divided beeps.

As for RAM testing, I did that many times in the past few weeks. Yes, there is a long beep, no beak, if RAM is removed from its slot.

This is the first time to happen this type of beeps in half second intervals , and it happened right after I had the CPU cleaned.
I cleaned CPUs many times before. But this is the first time for me to clean an i5 CPU. I wonder if i5 CPU is different from the ones before.

Power on, continuing beeps B - B - B - in half second intervals
To be clear it just keeps beeping every 1/2 second and will keep going until power is pulled or
beeps 3 times every 1/2 second then pause and beeps 3 times again.

Does the cpu fan spin - have you connected it ? Remove any ad-in cards in computer.
Have you reseated the cpu to make sure.

You have posted this question in many forums. if you start to follow directions in another forum please let us know so you do not end up with conflicting information

"To be clear..."
It is not 3 beeps in a set, not 3 beeps at a timr. It is : beep stop beep stop beep stop (B - B - B - B - B - B - B - B - B - B - B - B - ) in 1/2 second intervals & goes on and on and no stop or no rest until the power cable is pulled.

"Does the cpu fan spin"
Yes. It does.

" ad-in cards"
What ?

"reseated the cpu "
Yes, reseated the CPU and it beeps still.

"many forums"
Yes. Desperate to find solutions.
