Solved ASUS Z390A Urgent Help Needed Picking Ram.

I'm wanting to get an ASUS Prime Z390A Mobo and I have Corsair Vengeance Ram that DDR4 2800mhz and the cpu I want to get is an i9 9900K

he reason I'm asking for help and get it soon is because my tower just got taken out by lightening oh joy for me.

My question I'm not sure on what speed of ram to get because I want to use intel turbo boost as well but I don't don't do enough of this stuff to know if the 2666mhz is fast enough or what speed I should get so I don't hinder turbo boost either,I don't know if it's possible to get ram that's to slow so the cpu won't reach it's max frequency in turbo mode.

It looks like the stock ram they say to use is 2666/ 2400/ 2133 to see all the ram you can use use the link and then click spec's and scroll down all the different frequencies are listed.

As long as the present RAM was not also damaged I would give that a go first, Intel state 2666MHz RAM for the i9 9900K, see specs here

Before purchasing that MB you need to make sure that it has the latest BIOS else it may not recognise a 9th generation CPU.
