Hey guys one of the fans from my asus rog strix gaming laptop is loose. I have located the problem but in afraid if i send the laptop for repair it will cost me money. However the laptop is still within the warranty.

Any tips?

how old is this laptop?

being a laptop, to see if the fan blades are lose, you'd have to flip it over and remove the back cover, was this done?
were there any stickers that you had to cut or peel that had words along the lines of 'warranty void if removed'?

getting the video attached would help. :)

There was no warranty sticker luckily. I have removed the back of the laptop and i have made a video where the problem can exactly be seen. I need to figure out how i post a video :)

if you can't upload it directly, try sending it to one of those image hosting sites like PhotoBucket or Igmur.
then post that link.

You do not need to create separate post for each of us especially since you repeat yourself in each of them.

There is no need to quote our post since I reread the entire thread to make sure that nothing is missing.

When you manually spin the fan like that it will vibrate sine it is spinning outside of the speeds that it is set to.

From the sounds of it the fan is hitting the shroud.

Would suggest that it be replaced, and it looks like the fan is attached to the heatsink.

May also want to have some thermal pasted handy.
