I want to upgrade my main system to Windows 10, so I did a simple Google search for "windows 10" and up came a bunch of results that came on up Google shopping... here is one of them: https://softwareports.com/product/microsoft-windows-10-professional-64-bit/. It's way cheaper than buying it straight from Microsoft, but I worry that it'd give me an invalid product key that'd give me the "this version of Windows is not genuine" problem after 30 days. Then if I'm being paranoid, I worry about things like the version of Windows that "Software Ports" is selling comes pre-loaded with a virus or something stupid like that.

Because I can download Windows 10 Pro as an ISO straight from Microsoft's website, I don't really need to buy something that includes the software and the product key. That's where this comes in: https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_fr...key.TRS0&_nkw=windows+10+product+key&_sacat=0. They are all really cheap and most of them have good reviews, but I feel like, again, it'd give me an invalid product key that'd give me the "this version of Windows is not genuine" problem after 30 days.

What do you all think about this?

Ebay.... Genuine Windows 10 $15.00, yeh sure. The lower the price the higher the risk. Only buy from a reputable dealer. You can get many Windows and Office iso's from here.

I know about that program, I use it quite often actually. I'm dealing with the problem of product keys. From Microsoft, a copy of Windows 10 Pro with the product key is $199, but it's $60 on SoftwarePorts and *** knows what's going on at eBay

There is always that possibility.

Have you tried Best Buy or some other local store plus what about Amazon. May cost the same as Microsoft maybe a bit more yet at least it will be legit.
Well I looked on Best Buy and Amazon, looks like the're selling it for $10 less than Microsoft! I guess that's better, but it's looking like I really shouldn't buy Windows 10 unless it's sold by Microsoft.

You always run a risk of false keys anywhere on the web except from the manufacturer themselves. I myself have purchased keys from eBay or Steam keys from other online stores with no issues, but you always run a risk.

The video gus is referring to worked for that guy.

Ok so I went for it, and I got this message, which I was kind of expecting

But is it okay to run the computer like this? Will I get that "you may be a victim of software counterfeit" message or something like that where it'll limit my use of Windows 10 or anything else?

Windows 10 will run unactivated forever (unless MS change their policy in the future) It will update as per normal and fully function. About the only thing that you cant do is customize it.

If you purchased a key from the above site and applied it correctly and it doesn't work you should contact them ASAP and request a working key.

It will render your Windows 10 unusable until you activate.
