Hey guys,

I need a bit of advice/help. I recently bought a new case and upgraded some parts of my PC, the case is:

Now, the case came with this FAN LED control unit which plugs into the PSU, please check screenshots. I bought this cable (again screenshot) and tried connecting it and it didn't end well, somehow my HDD got disabled and it's gone now. The service guy advised me to buy a same cable, but the one from the manufacturer of the PSU, I'm just worried here if it's the way to go or should I look for alternatives in connecting the fans and led's. He said he's never seen control until like that as well, so I'm not sure what to exactly do. I don't want to burn anything else trying to connect this control unit.

I also came across this cable:

But I'm not sure if this is the right one, can someone give me advice on this and maybe a link to the cable I should buy?

If you are looking for a connector for the black controller box shown in the second picture then it is a standard "Molex" power connector that comes with all power supplies. You should already have one.

I seemed to misplaced that cable and I don't seem to be able to buy any, I already but molex cable but that fried my stuff so I need original one from PSU. You know where I can get it?
