Solved 2.5ghz cpu vs 3.0ghz cpu

You may notice a slight increase with different things.
You might notice a more of an increase of you update the RAM Max is 8 GB
The other thing that you may want to think about is getting a newer updated system with a secure operating system. Windows 7 is no longer secure and supported by Microsoft.

To be honest save your money and purchase a new and or build you own system.

Ok thanks for the reply. It's been a bit of a project so I've already updated ram to 8gb @800mhz, new 2gb graphics card and 650w PSU. Windows 10 running pretty smooth. Next will be the SSD but think will stop there if not much point in upgrading the CPU. It makes you think tho how much the difference is between the two CPUs as used the Q8300 is £7 and the QX9650 £50.
