    I do understand policy and procedure phill, since my first post with the gigabyte board i replaced it with an asus board, found after installing the board drivers, no issues with start-up or restart bios access, only after installing amd video drivers for the amd rizin 7 5700g chip did the issue...

    hey all, been busy, hehe! i upgraded motherboard to a x570, now from time to time i get flashing blue screen at restart, hmmm!, using a lg 4k tv as monitor, from a/v 4k receiver, took the 4k receiver out of the picture and no fuzzy but flashing blue screen, this seem to be where the issue is...

    thanks rusty for the info, Asus Prime X570-P coming tomorrow, i did forget about the OS situation, darn, i have a win 11 oem disk, any workaround might be worth the hassle to not have ta buy a new OS, or any other ideas ya have that may help!

    i agree rusty, sometimes it's a tangled web we weave, hehe! i have a new x570 board coming monday, then i will check the old board to see if i can maybe reflow pins if thats what i find on the back of the board, then test it with old hardware i have for just that reason! not taking any more...

    haven't removed the board yet, appears the white flash is coming from behind the High-End WIMA & Audio Capacitors, not good!

    yes i will try one with no a/v receiver involved, i'm leaning towards mother board issue with the white flash, need ta check behind board i think to rule it out, i build my own pc's so not that big a deal, may be an issue with the old power supply that caused this result

    when i hold the power button down to shut it down for 15 to 20 sec, it shuts down in about 4 sec. the rgb lights on the motherboard stay on, when i shut down from os they do not, when pc is restarting and hitting the delete button it shows fuzzy screen then black flash then back to fuzzy screen...
