    These items were not on the list in HijackThis. ^^^ The HiJackThis.log below was recorded before fixing the suggested items. Startup was much quicker. Overall things are faster but suboptimal, lagging to open up programs or dialog boxes. Even typing this the text is lagging slightly.

    Hey Mal, good to see ya. After reboot i'd say things are running much more smoothly, but startup was still very slow - maybe 20% faster.

    As far as I can tell, everything was restored after the repair install. Search bar, power options, snipping tool, thumbnails = all good! I can't thank you guys enough for your efforts in helping me restore my computer! :)

    Thank you Mal! Now the boot up was much slower than usual. I also can't use the search bar, snipping tool, & when I hit power in the start menu it doesn't pull up any of the options. I have not run the repair install yet.
