This Tutorial is written to help you configure your DNS to point to OpenDNS's DNS servers to help protect you online.

- Click the Start Menu Icon and then select Control Panel.
- You will see Control Panel coming up, Now look for feature Network and Sharing Center.
- Now find the Local Area Connection under 'Active Networks.' and press the Properties button
- Select Internet Protocol Version 4 and click Properties.
- Click the button Use the following DNS server addresses: and type in OpenDNS its adressses:
208.67.222.222
208.67.220.220 - Click OK button. Then close all the popups, You can test if the settings worked by going to http://208.67.222.222 in your web browser. If it doesn't work, then restart your system and try again.
- Select Control Panel from the start menu by clicking the windows icon or pressing windows flag
- Find the option Network Connections from the Control Panel choices and click on it.
- Choose your active connection and press the Properties button.
- Select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and click Properties.
- Click the button Use the following DNS server addresses:
208.67.222.222
