    Solved Updating BIOS on ASUS P9X79 LE

    Thanks! The motherboard will play nice with any PCI-e 3 x16 GPU so I plan on getting something along those lines. Hopefully because of that I won't see any loss of performance.

    Solved Updating BIOS on ASUS P9X79 LE

    I want to "modernize" my gaming rig by updating the GPU to a more recent NVIDIA or AMD card in its compatibility list, but the BIOS is currently 10 years behind the current release (v3408 released 2013) - https://www.asus.com/us/supportonly/p9x79_le/helpdesk_bios/. I have never updated the BIOS...
